Amazing guide and tour
"Risato was the most amazing guide. She was easy to talk to and gave us so much information about the history and culture. She took the most amazing photos of us as a family. We really enjoyed the tour and spending time with her. Risato was extremely helpful, friendly and personable, connecting with all ages. The tour was a great way to see the sights of Kyoto. Using public transport made it an exciting adventure. Risato gave us extensive local knowledge which we would never have known on our own."

Kyoto Sightseeing Tour
"We had an excellent time with Risato. She took us to the bamboo forest, the Golden Pavilion and the Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine - all well worth visiting. Risato was informative throughout about these landmarks. What we enjoyed most though was talking to her about the Japanese culture, the local food and anything else that you just don’t get by going to these places on your own. Throughout the whole trip she took loads of pictures of us that she shared later - something that the other guides we experienced throughout our stay in Japan didn’t readily offer. Her support didn’t stop the moment we finished the tour either which was kind and generous of her. She has a great sense of humour, loads of energy and brings a different perspective to life. Her English is good also - something that is surprisingly uncommon with English speaking guides. We loved our time with Risato and we're very grateful for her contribution to our holiday."

Amazing experience!
"Risato was amazing. Thoughtful, going out of her way to help us and look after things on the way. Very open to discussing Japanese culture and we learnt so much from her. She was amazing and went out of our way to help us find and make reservations for vegetarian restaurants and our daughters wanted a Japanese nail salon experience and she not only found something for all of us but came back on her own time the next day and met us. She was amazing and we highly recommend her!"

Best Tour in Kyoto
"Amazing Risato was the most lovely tour guide. We had a great day seeing the sites of Kyoto and being able to ask questions of a local was so interesting and useful. We enjoyed taking local transport and seeing parts of the city we may not have otherwise seen. Risato took the time to recommend restaurants and other attractions and was very accommodating of my seven year old son! 5 stars!"

Nice Kyoto tour
"Nice tour of Kyoto, it covers some of the most sought after locations and we got very lucky to get an amazing tour guide, thank you Risato!! She took many pictures for us and showed us secret spots at the locations that people usually overlook, while giving us many interesting facts of Kyoto and Japanese culture, she also had many suggestions on places to go after our tour. There is the possibility to book around 6 am as well for the early birds." David from UK

Duaring the tour, she provided a wonderful overview in a short time and personalized the experience for us. Plus took amazing photos! When I lost phone in a crowded area, she kept me calm and reassured, emphasizing Japan's safety. We eventually found the phone. As a solo traveler on my first solo trip, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it!!!!!"

"We had a fabulous day in Kyoto with Risato, a friendly, helpful, local Japanese as a guide for the day! Risato gave us local, insightful information regarding Japanese travel, culture, and Kyoto. We learned a lot and had fun Risato gave us tips and recommendations for the remainder of our trip through Japan. Her English is very good - she used to work at Epcot Japan in Disney World! At the end of tour I felt like Risato was not just my local guide, but Japanese friend I recommend Risato to all visitors as a local guide! You will not regret!"

"We are not usually into guided tours or doing reviews but as Kyoto has become so busy with tourists we decided to choose an early morning small tour. Thank goodness we did! There were four others and our guide was Risato. She was very informative and helpful in navigating us across town and taking us to the best spots. A welcome relief from google maps. We also appreciated her patience, wisdom and humour in looking after us. In short, we would recommend her absolutely!"

"Our Kyoto experience was infinitely better with Risato – she moved us about public transport with ease and obviously knew the quickest and easiest ways to navigate the very popular tourist destinations. She is very calm and efficient as well as lovely with our two children – she enjoyed their [Australian] energy and was thoughtful about them without it affecting the others on the tour. Very knowledgeable about our three destinations, as well as Japan in general. We loved our tour with Risato, she is an absolute delight and couldn’t recommend her more highly (she also took wonderful photos that she shared afterwards)."

"with little time in kyoto and so many places we wanted to see, AND wanting to get good pictures by beating the crowds- doing an early tour with Risato was a no brainer. Risato was an absolute gem and the perfect tour guide for kyoto. she showed us the great sights and taught us japanese culture. her english was amazing and it was easy to connect with her. her job as a tour guide didn’t stop when we parted ways at the end of the tour. we were going to seoul and gave us recommendations and checked up on us for the remainder of our trip. let’s also not forget she took the best pictures for us!! she knew the best spots to not have people in the background and got all the angles. i can’t recommend Risato enough- if you’re ever in Kyoto please hit her up!"
